Dern probably pulled in about an hour ago, set up camp, put a tri-tip on the bbq and already has his feet resting on warm rocks around the campfire. I
wish I were there too, feeling that itch to get into the water first thing tomorrow morning.

It was not a secret then and certainly is not one now.

Bravo!
Remember Bradley's Service Station gravity gas pump north of Colonet... just a few miles after the pavement ended... back in the 60's!?

Yes I do, on the north side of the river. We stopped there for no other reason then to get gas from that thing. I am looking to see if I can find
some pictures.

Surfers are so touchy! Us snowboarders don't mind sharing the slopes.
Attitude almost makes me want to devote a website that promotes and exploits the "secrets". Almost. I'm not a complete di$&head.

Brian,
You set yourself up for that one. I guess you already knew that.

As my friend said as he swam from seeing whale sharks back to the boat,"It's too big". I'll wait for the waves to calm down. I'm a small wave rider!

PLEASE! I know full well the "snow people" protect their favorite backside bowls in the exact same way. And if you don't know that, then you
probably haven't been boarding very long. Same goes for surfing. Do it long enough and you'll start looking for a place where you can surf great
waves and not have to weave around a bunch of human buoys. Can you blame anyone for that? Not really.

Most of those places are hard to get too, need to hike up, or helicopter. But first runs on fresh powder is sublime!

you are beginning to understand...!
Should we build a lift that can take me right to the top of your favorite sublime powder run???

Maybe we would be somewhat sympathetic if some like woodrow was a bit cooler about things. Until then, I will encourage all to go and share the waves.

1980s, those were the days.
I could swear that I saw a Stand up paddle boarder on the video at 2:11.

you are a troll.
it was epic! 4 days of noodle arms and my nose is peeling. now go take your medicine, troll!
BTW, saw your feeble attempt at a posting thursday at 3.30am when i left to go "nowhere!" thought it would be fun to see everyone's opinion, but no
one wants to go!
so, for calling me out you just show your fat rear end. do you drive a honda? where were you since thursday? the nursing home?

oh yeah, i could care less anymore. just thought i'd remind you that some of us actually do get up and go when King Neptune smiles.....

Woody,
Did you run into Dern? (group of 5 guys, three vehicles)
Congrats on your noodle arms and peeling nose. I'm envious.
