Thank you for the update Sally, I was thinking about you and Juanita this morning. Your meltdown is understandable, and you should both expect and
accept this natural stress response.
I think that it is encouraging that the Drs. have a treatment plan, and that they are starting. Amazing new treatments not available a very short time
ago!
Do you have someone with you who you can cry with? Or do you have to be "the strong one" in front of everyone? Obviously you can't come apart in front
of your grandchildren, or your daughter, but you do need to let it all go, ideally with someone's arms around you. A number of Nomads have posted that
they are nearby, and have offered to help however possible. I strongly suggest that you contact some of them, to be your on-site support network. They
don't have to make everything all right, they don't have to pay the bills, they just need to be there when you need to cry. Or to make you laugh! It's
OK to laugh when in the midst of stuff like this, just like it's OK to cry.
Blessings today. You and your family are in many prayers and thoughts.

prayer sent out. as someone said, meltdowns are allowed and surely to be expected. be sure to take extra good care of yourself since you, above all,
need tobe healthy both in spirit and body.
breathe deeply often.
maybe schedule a massage per week
keep writing on bajanomads !!! it is great to get feelings out there - it also heals.
if you can swing it - take some catnaps during the day. such a simple way to recharge overloaded bodies ...
lots of prayers are headed your way !!!

Hi gang.I do have my mate, just got married after being together for 15 yrs.! He is a very kind soul and loves me and my family. He was with me at
meltdown and hugged me just right. Then last nite I found Larry the Cable Guys' Christmas specials to watch and got some real good laughter going
on!Felt so good...And today I finished my shopping for Juanita for her girls for Christmas. She didn't get a chance to do it.She wants to make a "fairy
garden" for the girls in my Dads back yard.I think it will turn out really cool. They will need to wait for Mom to come home to start it tho...Blanca,
I have not had a massage in 20+ years.I think it would be a good time for that.I did take a catnap today in my chair, with my cat.Much needed but
still tired. To bed early so I can be sharp and alert for Juanita tomorrow morning with her goodies!Thank you for the prayers.....and good ideas! Hugs
to all, Sally

Sally, I know Prayer works and it works well.
Father I ask that you send the Holy Spirit to be with Sally and her Family, and at this time to be with Juanita, only you Father are the
Surgeon..Doctor and can do all that is needed, so we ask that the ministering Angels Gather and do a mighty healing on this beloved person, and we
ask this in your Sons Name.

AMEN!! Thank you Mako! My daughter,Amy and I just got home from the hospital.I was NOT prepared for what I saw when I walked in.She looked like she
was just in a raging fight! One eye swollen shut, black and blue, whole side of her face all puffed out, and now the other eye is just barely
open. While we were there three doctors came in.The first one told her he had some good news, that she is now producing her OWN white blood cells! They
didn't expect this so soon!It is a major turn around. He explained that her face is swollen because she now has cells that are fighting off the
infection that was there before and it is actually a good sign! The last doctor told her she could go home but she said no, she didn't want to chance
getting another infection from someone (big family)and re-gress.We don't particularly care for this doctor and decided he didn't have all the
facts(which,it turns out he didn't).So Nomads, a Christmas miracle for us and yes, all those prayers helped!!!!Merry Christmas Nomads!!!She is
healing! Sally

That is wonderful news! Sounds like Juanita made a wise choice to stay in the hospital. It is indeed a wonderful blessing, I hope that she is able to
rejoin her family, and her interupted life, very soon.

Today Mijas white cell count is at 15,000, a normal count!!She went in with 0!! They will keep her until tomorrow at least and check on the infection
in her eyes and face, then I think she will be coming home!!She is a little better today and her right eye, the one that has been totally swollen shut
for days is opened a bit.Her body is fighting the beast and she is winning!! If I ever doubted that there was a higher power, I now have proof that
there is....and the power of love and kindness.Thank you Nomads for pumping up the caring quota!! More tomorrow, Sally

Hi all. Today Juanita went back into the hospital for a months stay. Her cancer has come back. They are on an urgent search for a bone marrow donor for
her.Her sisters are not a match. So they start all over with radical chemo, this time using even heavier meds mostly used for juveniles. She is "putting
her house in order" just in case .Now is the time for the heavy guns to come out with prayers and positive energy for her.You guys have it!I will
update when I can.Gonna have my hands full with the G-Girls and Dad. Abrazos, Sally

I know that these reoccurances are very difficult to deal with. It is physically and emotionally exhausting. I hope and pray that you and Juanita be
uplifted and held closely.
Finding marrow donators is helped by getting the word out to as many people as possible.
If you can post the blood type and other essential markers that Juanita needs, perhaps someone here is able to help?
I imagine that you and your family are shocked and tired. It's difficult to make thoughtfull decisions when you getting hit as often and as hard as
you guys are.
Praying also that you might have wisdom and a sense of calmness around you, so that you can think clearly and evaluate your options.
