Opening up the fortune cookie...

It will say,"Dennis, you and Marc couldn't POSSIBLY get any better looking....and with such a thick head of hair...just devastating to the ladies!!"

Yes, Dennis...I was about to say the same thing...I had to take a double take though on the uncanny resemblance between you and Marc....you guys could pass for twins, probably very close in age as well.

OK....where's MY fortune cookie? All of us 40-year-olds deserve one.

One of my teaching colleagues grew up in Ensenda with the surname of Chang Lee. Her Chinese mother was also born in Mexico, but went back to China to find a suitable husband. They ran a market/restaurant in Ensenada for many years, until the kids were old enough to send them to graduate school in the states.

Anyway, Maria has invited me to celebrate Chinese New Year at her house this weekend. I'm looking forward to some high quality Chinese-Mexican treats!

The Chicken and Pineapple and Mongolian Beef which all came with great rice, egg roll and a big chili. Cost was 130 p. No fortune or almond cookie included but I never liked those anyway.

Fortune Cookie...

I asked for a fortune and almond cookie, I think they probably forgot cause I remember getting them when I was there...and of course the portions are huge so the 130 pesos is easily for two dinners...
