I crossed over the Dam many tmes in a 18 Wheeler never was any fun especially coming fron the AZ.side:o:o

No facilities for parking on the Arizona side... So, I would guess that to prevent Zonies from parking on the highway to walk on the bridge, they have that end 'sealed'!?!

Are you asking if I should have called this thread: The Big New Bridge by THE Hoover Dam?

Just like Baja, I don't think Hoover Dam needs a The in front of it. Now, if you drop Dam (like if you drop California) from the name, 'The' would work... specially if you are from Canada, eh?
