we were on the way in to abreojos(at night) when we met hurricane lester(1992). was paul anyhting like that?

No. Lester smacked into Abreojos with 85 mph winds. More than double this storm. We were camping and left early before it hit and then came back a week later to help clean up.

yeah we got stuck on road about half way in around 1am when lester unleashed his fury. unbeleivable wind and tons of rain. had to camp a couple days on road so water level got down enough to cross. looked like the colorado river or something.(right before campo renee).

glad paul didn't hit it that hard.
