I normally buy 8000 pesos at an atm. At 12.8p/$ that = 625 bucks. At 13.27 8000 pesos costs me 604 bucks. That's TWO WTF burgers WITH fries! 20 bucks still means something to me.

Probably more correct to say the US dollar rose, eh? Economy booming in USA, so dollar up against many currencies. Thank you, Obama!

Yes we can!

Wow, really booming! National debt heading for 18 trillion, 6.2% unemployment, 45 million on food stamps, millions more underemployed. Really impressive.

I have an exchange rate bookmark too. This HUGE amount of fluctuation happens every week, at least twice a week, and has maintained the same flux for about a year or so now. Dollar goes up in the summer, and down in the spring when folks are headed north to turn in their pesos, even more so than this monster increase. Wow, what news.

So when Antonio posted the dollar price of gasoline, he was using 12.50:1, now at 13.29:1, gas in Baja just got cheaper for dollar users, or those who just exchanged dollars for pesos.

Ya I know, the sky is falling. your quips from the radio get old. Here, take in some current (and non biased/nonpolitical) news. You might learn where the growth is coming from...that is if you really want to learn something new.

DK....why did you edit your post and remove your political rant?
