That signalled a red flag???Since then I,ve gotten a pardon so nothing shows up anymore.Thinking of using the Bellingham border crossing next time out??Hope they don't read this stuff ha-ha the big fat female border guard said to me that things could be worst if I had been flagged by an ugly women.Instead I was getting the full package !!!Really had to bite my tongue

....for the US customs, ''the crime'' might be smoking a joint wrong place, wrong time 40 years ago.

Some of you seem to be inferring some pretty high moralism,,,jus'sayin. :)

Then how do some professional baseball players get in to play in Toronto, etc.? Out of those ballplayers there just has to be some knuckleheads that fit the rejection rules.

The world of computer data collection and sharing is going to get increasingly more problematic. My husband was denied a NEXUS pass because of a drunk and disorderly issue when he was 18 (he did not even know it was registered). That was 50 years ago. Soon they will be able to tell where we have been, where we are going, what we did there, how much money we spent and for how long down to the last second and nickel. We are in the Dark Age of Computer Control.

crap,,I was worried about that. Whaddabummer. :wow:
that price keeps marching upwards,, the renewal more frequent,,, and the 'handling' of cases all point to cash grab.
a further little annoyance is the is the passport tag they give you,,another ~$15 renewal fee every 6 months, and be sure to get it to them before it expires
...the I=192 waiver used to be 'permanent', but can be issued for anywhere between 1 and 5 years nowadays. I got a 5 year, perhaps because I was able to go heavy on testimonial letters from americans....something I'd suggest if you know some folks, especially if any are lawyers, professionals.

...yes it's quite amazing what free reign 'homeland security' has. ...just typing those two words brings an alert, (thank you google). Arrest, no charge,,,,a discharge,,,doesn't matter,, it's part of your 'record' at the border.

George Orwell was an optimist.
