Thanks for the sentiments Ken. I just got back from cleaning up the mess the banditos left. Seems the neighbors caught the perps in action and
called the police. Who incredibly showed up just as they were taking off in the truck. Too bad for me though the police were in a little car. The
chase lasted about half a mile up the mountain where the car could go no further. One of my neighbors even went after them on a horse, but it was
very foggy that night and the horse only liked to walk sideways. true story.

A little help, for sure
Place across the street was a "manufactured home" the guy moved onto three acres last year.
Truly buttugly.
Anyway, they were on vacation and a so-called handyman ripped off the contents, then set the place on fire, then hung around to "help" the
firefighters.
Someone looked in the back seat of his car and he was off to the cross bar hotel.... $50k bail.
Next door, 5 year old was messing with some leftover Fourth fireworks and set the 100 year old place ablaze.
Flames 100 feet in the air, second floor dropped down into the main floor,
Was too hot to stand by our side window and we are a good 150 feet away from their house.
I have 51 redwood trees along the fence line, some are 40 and 50 feet tall, was surely afraid they would torch up, then things would have gotten
seriously ugly.
(those are my stories, I am sticking with them)

I did not get my truck back. I did go over to thank my neighbor who "chased" the perps on his horse. Strangely I noticed several things laying
around his house that seemed familiar. Some of them I know were in my storage shed at one time, but one thing in particular caught my attention. A
brand new 16 oz can of WD40. Two cans like these were missing from my house. As a note, I have never seen 16 oz cans of WD40 in baja, you know the
kind that says 4oz free on the bottom. Only the normal 12 oz size. I had bought mine in the states. The same guy told a strange story of hearing My
truck starting up, coming over and confronting the bandit, then running home to phone police. When he ran back he hid around wall at the end of my
driveway and threw a rock through the window as the truck passed. I should post the pictures of what the back of our house looked like. The thieves
must have been at it for hours. They did quite a bid of damage just trying to get through the security bars, then they tossed the place on the
inside. I don't know how, but they found my stash of extra keys, so they had keys to everything. Oh, one more interesting note, the boat key, the
only boat key, was also in the group of keys they found. The same neighbor who I mentioned above says he wants me to take him fishing. I say, I have
to have a key made for the boat. Low and behold he produces the key to the boat and says he found it in the driveway and the thief must have dropped
it.

Minnow ---
Sounds like you owe your concerned neighbor a favor. Maybe, during the winter on a cold night, you can light his house on fire so he can sleep in
comfort.

Did I mention that the same concerned neighbor also keeps a good eye on the Mini Motel in front of Sharkeys bar. He has been caught three times
breaking into the place. I also found a cigarette butt inside my house of the same variety that he smokes, and when my water pump was stolen last
month there were two butts left where the pump used to be. The cops know all about him, they say they have to catch him in the act. Dennis, if I was
a vengeful person I might have to take your advise.
