...it's looking like by friday or so,,windstrengths up the coast are looking to be ~40-50mph.
...it's unclear how big a band of rain,but it's looking like few will be left wishing for more

Strange San Jose seems to miss the rain. Started raining this morning around 3am, very hard at times. Still raining 7:30 am , seas are flat, no winds.

Mulege Laundry Update
Thursday the 4th (the day after Hurricane John some 8 or 9 years ago)
Woke up to hot & really blustery winds from the west that knocked my bath towels and hand-washed dresses onto the floor of the porch. Drats! Big
loads done yesterday-- smart girl.
Grocery shopping stock up done yesterday. Will stock up on drinking water today.
Will check on a friend who is here for his first season.
Until you've been through a storm in Baja it isn't quite real.
