Bob and Susan, thanks for your careful descriptions of the weather and conditions at your place on Conception. I am around the corner in Coyote Bay (when I am there) and look forward to your reports. We'll stop by and say HI next time, probably early Nov.

Fellow racers just got back from GN, reporting that the road from S Ignacio to S Rosalia is destroyed in several places, single lane in other places and many deep water crossings. HEAVY rains in Mulege continue. No indication of flooding currently, but.........
Pics on fb.

Yep, the cam is in no danger jajaja Friends just posted video from town and the rio. Town roads have 4 or so inches and Rio is at normal height as of an hour ago.

Yep, lots of mud there and the usual places. Prtly cloudy, 75*, 50% h
Schools are closed. Have not seen the rio.
My neighbor has a parrot, who screeches non stop during storms. It can be heard 2 blocks away. The parrot is silent this morning, it is a safe bet, the danger is over.

Hola Shari
Heavy rain until midnight, the drizzle thru out the night. Great video of the road behind Saul`s, by the school, looks like a Colorado rafting river, on my page.
Sun is out now, yeah!

That parrot is correct, the storm is on to the mainland and moving norte' and eastward according to the radar maps. Good to hear it didn't cause significant flooding in the Orchard.....

well well well! Russ checked in! grando to see you online again.

How is Mulege today? here in la bocana it is sunny and blue skies but to the south of us there are many clouds.....they don't look dark, that might be a good sign.

Come visit La Bocana

Pics are on my fb page. `friend` me. U2u if problem.
La Fortuna lucked out when they built the new road, or I would like to think it was well designed. The water now flows to the river in the road next to La Fortunia.
Roads are damaged going to the mission and beyond and ice house road area, as well as the valley roads. Power and water is ok in most areas, except where the roads are damaged.
Sunny with blue skys, cool with a pleasant breeze.

HERE COME DA JUDGE!

Looks like we're in for it next; it's hitting Tucson and the bootheel right now, should be in my back yard in about 6 hours. Glad i'm on a low hilltop, this one's looking rather wet. I'd rather be here than Mulegé for a big storm, but I'd rather be in Mulegé than here..... such a dilemma!

The rain will keep the dust down :saint:

"Luddite"......I had to look that one up, and as it turns out, I am one!

Do we have an organization, news letters, or a lobby devoted to preventing change?
