complete & utter nonsense. again.

Sorry, but I side with Dennis on this one, we do tend to get too complacent in life and a wake up call now and again is sometimes needed.

Maybe we should have a poll to see how many Nomads have actually been victims of violence in Mexico. I suspect that it would be a very small percentage.
In 30 years I have never been threatened by anyone, and I only know 2 or 3 people who have, so I don't spend a lot of time dwelling on it. Your chances of dying on the highway are much higher.

I agree to an extent, but I wear a seatbelt in the car to be prepared in the case of an event. I do the same at home, by being prepared in the case I have an "event". I am prepared with dogs and weapons.

I do the same in the states...

Hope for the best, plan for the worse!!!

Want an effective weapon for up to 20 feet?

Try Raid Wasp & Hornet bomb.
Get 'em in the face & they are gone to the hospital.
Almost as good as a pistol @ 20' and non-lethal.
Legal to possess EVERYWHERE!

Recommended to me by a Highway Patrolman. Always have it by the door of my RV.

Hope this helps!

WOW....Good stuff.
Ya know....I just don't get it. A lot of folks down here, or anywhere, will see the problem, but they don't fully comprehend their vulnerability to crime and mayhem. So, they do nothing and when products like this are legal and readily available, they ignore them.
Every person down here should have a few of these around the house, in their car and know exactly how to use them, but they don't.
I don't understand.

Some of us don't want them, don't want to use them, are not afraid to live without them, don't want you or others to tell us how to live. There's lots of things you don't understand Dennis.

George, it was probably just a rumpus. Possibly a wild rumpus.

Is this the same as the Wasp and Hornet spray? I have several, one of which I have carried in my truck for years. It doesn't say the word "bomb" on the can.

If the "Bomb" is different, do you activate it the same as the spray (by pushing the button at the top of the can)? If it is different, is it easy to find at hardware stores, on the same shelf as the spray? I don't recall ever seeing it.

I met the guy, marc I believe who owns this company. he lives in Bozeman, Mt. He was attacked by a grizzly and had his skull cracked. His hunting partner had a can of regular mace and sprayed the grizzly with it. the bear knocked both of them around several times before getting a good shot in the face. They were bowhunting and that is the reason they didn't shot the bear in defense. His hunting partner also happened to be a plastic surgeon. so they worked on marc's face immediately upon returning to town. he could stick hos tongue through his cheek.

I also have had several cans of this stuff all of which is UDAP enterpises..

DO NOT USE THIS INDOORS, OR YOU WILL BE DISABLED AS WELL AS THE TARGET. This is very bad stuff, be sure which way the wind is blowing as well.

be advised that bear spray is illegal in many states and MX

But I have a couple cans here. You will need to drive it down as the airlines will confiscate it. I have lost 2 cans that way in the past. At $40/can

See the UDAP homepage for more info...
http://www.udap.com/

There is a Photo of Marc on the homepage. I met him a week after his ordeal .

This stuff is 2x as powerful and shoots a hell of a lot more spray than what LE's use. This is like comparing a bb gun to a 12ga shotgun. This has 10% capisum, the cops stuff is under 5%.

When I lived in MT we sold this brand UPAD at the backpacking shop I worked at, we had a customer accidently shoot one off in the store. we had to close the store down for close to a week to air out. I breathed a little in on my way out the door, and my eyes and throat were killing me for several hrs.

This is intense stuff
