the odo reads 212k on the engine and tranny, orig miles. The frame and body has 85K miles.

The original motorhome had 62K original miles when I swapped the 1998 drivetrain, which had 189K miles and at that time the engine, transmission, and everything else was gone through (like I was going to keep it forever:-). The engine and transmission/tcase all run real clean and smooth. I've driven the rig for 23K miles during the past 7 years without any breakdown incident.

David, don't be surprised if I show up with my new 26-foot 4x4 motorhome, complete with the required flotation tires :-). But don't hold your breath either. :-(

How's the tide going to be that weekend?

Ken, sorry to hear you lost the interior pics, but I have 30 or so of them in the link I provided earlier above. Are you gonna be at Shell island?

It would be awesome to see you there Art! We will be on the island Saturday to Monday and Elizabeth's daughter will be going for the first time (she has researched marine biology at Scripps in La Jolla)...

The tides are not super high... At 18 feet is when the salt flats get water, and it becomes an island... Not even close that weekend, here are the daytime high tides for San Felipe:
SAT: 13.7 feet at 12:08pm
SUN: 14.8 feet at 12:40pm
MON: 15.7 feet at 1:11 pm

i'd have to agree w/ Dt but hard to find a good set up truck with a Lance or sumthin at $4K.

i liked Bob H's rig when he could dump the cabover at RV park on river and go truckin mulege.

For the $4000 you don't get axels or wheels. He pulled those and put them on the new rig.
